Announcement
Australia’s very own Steak Maestro, one-hatted chef Chris Wade, will headline the BeefLedger China Showcase III series in November 2019.
Chris Wade is a passionate and skilled representative of the Australian beef and wine industries, and had led cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and showcases across over 20 countries.

“Having the chance to work with Chris will add a new dimension to technology + product showcasing. At the end of the day, people don’t eat or drinks ‘bits and bytes’, so we want to ensure the whole experience will be memorable,” said BeefLedger Chairman, Warwick Powell.
For the Signature Event series, Chris has developed a 5 course tasting menu that will showcase seven (7) different beefs.

“While Chinese consumers recognise Wagyu as occupying the pinnacle of beef experiences, our overall approach is about empowering consumers to learn and appreciate the benefits and difference of many different beefs.
“The tasting menu will show the varying attributes of beef from Wagyu, Black Angus and Hereford-cross cattle, not to mention how amazing different cuts of meat are,” said Mr Powell.
A range of Chris’ Steak Maestro rubs – made from Australian ingredients – will also feature, together with wines from a number of fantastic Australian winemakers.
