Food Agility CRC Export Smart Contracts Project Scope Being Finalised

BeefLedger is now working with its collaboration team to finalise a scope for its Export Smart Contracts Project. The project is being developed under the umbrella of the Food Agility Cooperative Research Centre (FA CRC). The FA CRC is a $150m initiative funded by the Australian Commonwealth Government to promote the application of digital technologies to improving national agribusiness competitiveness and sustainability.

BeefLedger is a Founding Industry Partner of the FA CRC. We were pleased to catch up with FA CRC Chief Executive, Mike Briers AO, in Sydney to brief him on progress.

IOT Devices Collaboration MOU inked

As part of BeefLedger’s ecosystem development, we’re pleased to have executed a collaboration MOU with Track Tech ( This collaboration will see Track Tech devices deployed within parts of the BeefLedger supply chain, to support our ability to monitor the whereabouts of our equipment and packages.

BeefLedger to present at Brisbane Blockchain Summit

BeefLedger‘s founder and Chairman, Warwick Powell, will be a keynote presenter at the Brisbane Blockchain Summit on 1 August 2018. The Summit is an industry event and will have a national and global audience of government, regulatory, industry and technology leaders present.

Collaboration Research and Development MOU with Ultimo Digital Technologies

BeefLedger is finalising a Collaboration MOU with leading blockchain IOT firm, Ultimo Digital Technologies (UDT). The MOU will see the parties work together to implement a blockchain-secured data repository for geospatial tracking of BeefLedger assets. This extends to recording the movements of transport equipment, containers and individual product packages. BeefLedger will be a validator node on the UDT consortium blockchain.
