BeefLedger announces R&D collaboration with James Cook University
BeefLedger and James Cook University have signed a Research and Development Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding. The research framework enables the parties to scope and implement research projects with a focus on JCU’s expertise and experience in the internet of things arena, particularly in the “behind the farmgate” environment.
“We are really pleased to have taken this next step with JCU, within whom I’ve had a working relationship for quite a few years already,” said Warwick Powell.
“JCU have been active in the digitalization space, and have runs on the board with their Digital Homestead project. We’re looking forward to exploring how their experience and expertise can now be integrated into our work to take the next ‘big leap’ in digitalization of the Australian beef supply chain,” he said.
